Where do you want to go?

We fly new places all the time.

But for reference, this is a basic list of mountains and glaciers you will see when visiting the area.

Every group and every trip is different. We fly all over the state, on demand. You can tell us where you want to go or we can share some ideas based on what you want to do. We will help you put together a package that makes sense for you.

Save money by starting in McCarthy

Our van service stops in Chitina, But….
Get yourself to the McCarthy airstrip to meet the plane and you’ll be looking at a savings in the neighborhood of $150 - $200 per person. – depending on your trip. Nice!

NOTE:
Pre MAY 15th each year McCarthy is a ghost town. All the wonderful services and luxuries such as the hostel, saloon, convenience store and shuttle services will still be closed for the season.

In the months before May the 60 mile dirt road from Chitina is a rough journey for even intrepid four-wheel drives. Be aware this is an unmaintained section of road and spring break-up conditions affect it differently each year.

Schlepping your gear-
At no point in the year can you drive your own vehicle to the airstrip; it’s 2 miles from where you leave your car.

Around May 15th a shuttle van runs from the foot bridge into town or the airstrip, food and lodging become available and driving the road is easier.
